Halloween Costumes and Costume Accessories purchased between Oct 15 and Oct 31 are not eligible for refunds or exchanges. All costume purchases made during this period are final sale.
Lingerie, Hosiery, Swimwear, Face Masks, Clearance Items & items marked Final Sale are final sale. Due to the intimate and sensitive nature of these items, they are ineligible for returns.
Eligible merchandise can be returned to Leg Avenue for store credit or refund within 30 days of purchase. Returns must be in original condition in which they were received (unwashed, unworn, and with the original tags & packaging).
We will issue a store credit or refund for eligible returned items, as well as associated state tax. Original shipping fees are not refundable unless the error was on our end.

Loved the dress! I’m 5”6 around 180lbs and I got a medium size. It fit great and wasn’t too tight.

Pros:
- can look really cute with some tweaking (I recommend you only get this if you have some small ability to sew/modify it to fit your body type better and/or to fix some of the shoddy work done in the factory to make this thing.)
- nice color (initially... see cons below about washing)
- comes with its own accessories (gauntlets are good, belt thing was garbage, headband was cool)
- light, flowy, and very breathable fabric for hot summer days (feels like you're naked - also see cons below)
- can be made to fit in different periods/styles
Cons:
- odd proportions (the breast strap things were super narrow but the band and elastic around the torso was crazy huge, such that my breasts wouldn't stay covered but my torso was way too small, so it hung off of me weirdly until I resewed the top)
- skirt is really really really long. I'm an average height (5'4") and I literally had to cut off almost two feet from the front just so I could walk without tripping.
- fabric is very thin and definitely feels and looks that way. Don't wear dark underwear or everyone on the planet will see it. Also don't stand in the sun or people can see through it. Also don't sweat or get rained on. Basically don't exist as a normal human in this outfit for long periods of time, lol.
- color fades a lot even the first time you wash it. I very carefully washed it by hand in cold water with gentle detergent and it immediately lost about a third of its dye. That cute emerald/turquoise color turned into a sad almost gray/green dark pastel looking color.
Overall I wasn't exactly disappointed by this purchase because for the price I wasn't expecting a lot and I really just needed a one day costume for Ren Faire. I did quite a bit of resewing on it to make it fit and lay a lot better, and that helped tremendously, even to the point where I got a lot of compliments on it and people asking where I got it. So I'd say that it worked out but that you should set your expectations for this reasonably.

I'm always leery of buying the main piece of a Halloween costume online, but this one was a winner! I'll be using it for a Medusa costume, but it's a really versatile base piece that could be used for lots of different looks. The flowing material is very figure friendly - if you've got a bit of a tummy or booty, this dress will not accentuate it but rather flow nicely over it. I plan on wearing the dress with a black under-the-bust waist cincher, which looks great. I'm not going to use the brown pleather accent pieces, because my accessories are black, but they seem decently made for a costume. I'm 5'9" tall, and the longest parts of the dress reach to the floor. The slits in the front come up fairly high on the thigh - just below where a pair of shorts would end. I will probably wear a sports brief or spandex shorts underneath for safety's sake! Please note that the costume is low cut and leaves a good portion of the ta-tas exposed with little support. If you tie the halter ties a little tighter you can get some lift, but be aware that the material is thin and gauzy. You can't really wear a bra with it, even the adhesive kind. I'm looking into a black, strappy bralette that would add some interest to the neckline and still give me some additional coverage and support.
I definitely recommend this dress for your costume needs - it's versatile and flattering to just about any body type. Check out some of the pictures from purchasers - they all look amazing.

Gorgeous dress! TTS and fits perfectly. Glad I didn’t size up per the size chart or it would’ve been too big. Dress fits like a glove and really shows my assets ;-) But the accessories.. nope. The headband is way too small/ tight and itchy. The belt is also too small so keep that in mind if you’re busty like me. The arm cuffs are adjustable so they work just fine. I ordered a different belt and headband to go with it and plan on wearing Viking makeup and hair. Can’t wait to wear this and show off my curves at our ren faire!

For reference I am 5'0, 103lbs, 32DD breasts, size 4-6.. This fits perfectly except for the length which I expected to be too long. This beautiful costume even gives me support and coverage for my DD chest without a bra. I'm going to wear one anyway because it's sheer enough to be nippy, even though it's not sheer enough to see through. It arrived quickly and is well made. The belt is easy to put together. It even holds my heavy dagger! The belt and gauntlets are a thinner material, so I will see how they hold up. I think they will. To me it's worth the price as I will wear it to the Renaissance festival also. Also I have to hem everything, so that's not an issue with me. Itll be fine for taller women. The belt around the waist is a little long for me, but still hooks. I love that it shows a little skin, but not too much. Love the leg slits. I am wearing a costume necklace that covers some cleavage, it's not part of the outfit. Great outfit. 5 stars!
